Da Leah was created by world renowned milliner and Italo file, Leah Chalfen. Her passion for design and warmth is seen in every decorative detail. With unique elegance and a touch of eccentricity, the decor combines the charm of the past with modern comfort. The walls are adorned with exceptional images taken from high fashion magazines and celebrating Leah’s hats.
The house is located in a beautiful 1920’s period building. The completely renovated interior consists of a cozy living room, an elegant bedroom, a modern bathroom and an intimate kitchen. In addition, DA LEAH has three small balconies from which you can take in the Sicilian light during a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
The living room welcomes you with a warm atmosphere, inviting you to relax on the sofa or recline reading in a comfortable armchair. Here you will also find a wardrobe to conveniently store your personal belongings. We have an assortment of lovely coffee table books and backgammon for your relaxation and entertainment!
The charming, spacious and bright bedroom has two sets of French doors and offers a King size bed, a writing surface, armchair with reading light, coffee tables, a mini fridge, a bar cart and TV. The art features Leah’s couture hat creations photographed by Karl Lagerfeld for American Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar US.
An intimate, custom designed kitchen with an arched ceiling showcases the architectural ingenuity and has been expertly crafted with local materials. This space is equipped with a refrigerator, espresso machine/pods, tea kettle, kitchen knives, cutting boards and pots for preparing light and simple dishes. Plates, cutlery and elegant glasses are available for your convenience. Simple condiments, paper products and cleaning supplies are provided.
The beautifully tiled bathroom is provided with body care products handcrafted from an artisan producer in Catania and hair care products from the New York brand NEST. Both are prepared with typical Sicilian ingredients and aromas to guarantee a luxurious sensory experience. Chosen especially for you!
