Gold is an eye catching element in a residential space and should have the right amount of visual impact, not necessary to over do it!

Delicate art work itself or the frames can be a fluid way to incorporate many tones of gold into your environment. Artisanal touches in products like a lamp shade finial or decorative table objects are usually surprising and fun.

Of course many furniture categories have beautiful metal elements in the pieces so be sure that there is also a contrasting material such as an organic material, a woven element/fabric in the item. Other colors in the room can influence the tasteful placement of the gold accents, generally warmer tones, regal colors; purples, greens or dramatic white marble next to golds are very successful in an overall sophisticated room decor.
